AUAS Systems with own passwords
Some UvA and AUAS systems do not use the central database, where log-in details are stored and changed, for their authentication. Instead, these systems consult a local database. If a password is changed in the central database on id.uva.nl, that change will not be applied within those local databases.
Staff members do often log into those systems using the username from their AUAS-net ID. However, the password for those systems has not been changed! On these systems, you will therefore continue to log in using your old username and password.
