Short term programme: Online Innovation Bootcamp

The Innovation Boot Camp will be running as an online course from 12th October until the end of November 2020.

The Innovation Boot Camp is organized by HdM and its partner universities Hogeschool van Amsterdam (HvA) and Karel de Grote University College (KdG).

During a 6-week online course students can earn up to 5 ECTS credits in modules and (recorded) online classes on entrepreneurship, trendwatching and innovation. The program includes creative modules, such as Creative Thinking, User Experience Design and Digital Mindfulness and allows students to develop entrepreneurial experiences.

Tutoring will be given online by professionals from different areas such as business, technology, graphic design, trend watching, etc. Students will use a wide range of online tools for team work or individual work outside the classes.

The Innovation Boot Camp explicitely welcomes Undergraduate students from all academic disciplines to take part in the online program and does not target applicants in the fields of entrepreneurship exclusively. Students will receive a certificate upon successful participation in the digital Innovation Boot Camp.

The new application deadline for the online Innovation Boot Camp is 15th September 2020. Students are encouraged to apply as soon as possible, as seats will be distributed on a first come/first serve principle. Students of HdM partner universities can submit the following application documents in English in one pdf file to Mr Gideon Bazen (g.h.bazen@hva.nl), coordinator of the Innovation Boot Camp at HvA, copying Ms Katja Mahler (mahler@hdm-stuttgart.de), coordinator of Short Term Programs at HdM, into their communication:

  • motivation letter
  • CV
  • current Transcript of Records

Due to the limited number of seats available, up to 5 international students from HVA partner universities are invited to take part in the virtual Innovation Boot Camp for free. If more than 5 students from one HVA partner university will apply, these candidates can be transferred to a waiting list. Depending on the final number of applicants, the organizing project universities HdM, KdG and HvA may reconsider a reallocation of seats for international students from their partner universities.
