Application procedure

How to apply

The AUAS Summer School is open for applications! Apply by filling out the online application form of the course of your choice.

Step 1: Preparations

In the online application form you will be asked to provide the following documents. So, please keep at hand:

  • Your proof of identity (ID). The document should state your full name, date of birth, and place of birth.
  • Your university or college ID. (If you don't have a university or college ID, please upload a proof of your current professional status.)

At the end of the application procedure you will be asked to pay the course fee and (when applicable) housing fee at once, so make sure you are able to do so beforehand. You may do so by credit card, iDeal or bank transfer.

Step 2: sart the application procedure

Navigate to the course which you would like to register for in the course list, and click on the 'apply now'-button. The application form will now open.

Answer all of the questions in the application form. You will be asked to make several choices:


  • Choose no housing if you don't need an accommodation or will arrange housing on your own.
  • Choose housing if you want the AUAS Summer School to arrange an accommodation for you.
  • Are you applying for the course Virtual Fashion Design? Then make sure to arrange housing on your own. The AUAS does not offer housing for participants of these courses.

Emergency contact:

We will ask you to provide an emergency contact. Please make sure to fill in the details of your contact person back home correcly, so we can contact them in case of an emergency.

Step 3: complete your application: payment and final check

After filling out the form, you will be provided with an overview of the costs of your programme. Pay the amount due via either Ideal, Credit Card or Bank Transfer, check all the information provided, and click on 'Submit'.

You will receive a confirmation of your application through email.
