Our Vision on Research

AMSIB’s vision on research is to co-create novel, scientifically sound, and relevant knowledge with multiple stakeholders (students, lecturers, practitioners, organizations, and entrepreneurs), which creates impact and provides practical contributions to professional and academic knowledge, as well as the management and growth of local and international business.

How do we do this?

AMSIB established the Centre for Entrepreneurial Dynamics and International Strategy (CEDIS) in 2015 to support research-active faculty members and stimulate research-informed teaching.

We distinguish between research- and scholarly-active faculty members. Research-active faculty members are allocated research time and are evaluated with key performance indicators for research output, while scholarly-active faculty members are allocated professionalization time and expected to engage in scholarly activities that enhance their knowledge and network beyond AMSIB. Scholarly-active faculty members are evaluated with key performance indicators for scholarly output.
