Regeneration Week

From 17–21 November, Regeneration Week explores what an economy could look like if it restores rather than depletes. A week full of inspiration, dialogue, and experimentation on regenerative thinking and practice – featuring Kate Raworth and leading partners.

What does an economy look like that restores rather than depletes? During Regeneration Week, we’ll explore how to build a future-fit economy grounded in regenerative principles. From 17 to 21 November, the Centre for Economic Transformation (CET) will host the very first Regeneration Week, together with partners includingHet Groene Brein, LDE Centre for Sustainability, HvA Venture Centre en Impact Hub Amsterdam

What to expect

A week full of workshops, keynotes, and exchanges where students, educators, researchers, and entrepreneurs come together to experiment with new forms of value creation. Ranging from workshops on regenerative business models and a self-scan for companies to a student start-up day and an academic research day.

Highlights

• TUESDAY - The farewell symposium of Kate Raworth, Professor of Practice at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences. During her interactive circus act The Battle for the Biosphere, she shares her latest insights on Doughnut Economics in an inspiring and playful way.

• THURSDAY - Circling Back, Moving Forward: Regenerative Research Day, a day for researchers and academics who want to contribute to the restoration of ecosystems, economies and our society.
