What does the energy future of your neighborhood look like?
Join us on June 3 at the Transition-Scapes closing event at the Nieuwe Instituut in Rotterdam and get inspired by new ways to collectively imagine and shape the energy transition in our cities.
Over the past two years, Transition-Scapes has explored how we can make the energy transition more understandable and tangible through creative design and collaboration. Together with residents, designers, researchers, and policymakers, we developed interactive tools that bring future scenarios to life and spark meaningful conversations.
These tools were tested in Amsterdam Haven-Stad and the House of the Future in Rotterdam South, and show how people and institutions can work together to create local energy systems.
During the event, we’ll share the main outcomes, including demonstrations of the tools and simulations, inspiring talks, and discussions on the role of design in shaping energy futures.
