Save the Date: Geert Lovink’s closing speech - Network Culture research group

On Thursday, September 3, 2026, at 4:00 p.m, we will say goodbye to Professor Geert Lovink and the Network Cultures research group (Institute of Network Cultures) at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences (HvA). The closing speech is titled In Defense of Media. Following the INC Exit Fest in late June, this is the official occasion to look back together on more than two decades of network culture, critical internet research, and digital culture.
