Launch of the Textile Opportunity Space Fieldlab

News
TOS13

Companies in the textile, apparel, leather, and footwear industries are facing major changes. New European regulations require digital traceability, transparency, and lifecycle responsibility. With the launch of Textile Opportunity Space 13 (TOS13), also known as NewWoTO (NewTexEco & WoTO), companies now have the opportunity to actively respond to these developments—and become a visible part of this transition through their own physical booth at the Textile Campus in Tilburg.

Fieldlab Fashion

TOS13 has been developed within the NewTexEco programme, in collaboration with Actionplan Circular Textiles (ACT). It is an initiative by the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, ArteZ, Saxion and TU Eindhoven, together with TextielLab Tilburg and supported by ClickNL. In this hybrid (digital-physical) fieldlab, companies, knowledge institutions, and technology partners collaborate on the future of the textile value chain.

What does this mean for companies?

  • A dedicated physical space (booth) at the Textile Campus in Tilburg
  • Collaboration with leading textile and technology partners
  • Visibility within a growing circular textile ecosystem
  • The opportunity to experiment directly in a realistic production environment

What can companies do in the fieldlab?

  • Experiment with Digital Product Passports
  • Work with advanced machinery, data infrastructures, and AI tools
  • Develop and test circular business models
  • Prototype using digital twins and microfactories
  • Explore digital workflows from design through to post-use

Why participate?

Participation provides access to infrastructure and expertise that are difficult to realise individually. The fieldlab reduces risks, accelerates innovation, and helps companies stay compliant with current and future European regulations.

Join us!

Companies that want to experiment, learn, gain visibility, and contribute to the future of textiles are warmly invited to participate.
