Micha Keijer conducts research in the fields of sustainable finance and behavioural aspects of finance, with a particular focus on the social dimensions of financial decision-making. His research interests include themes such as social inequality, inclusivity, behavioural finance, and the ways in which financial systems can contribute to a more sustainable and equitable economy. In his work, he combines insights from financial science with broader societal and ethical perspectives on the role of finance within society. In addition to his research activities, Micha is actively involved in strengthening the connection between higher education, academic research, and professional practice. He annually organizes a variety of academic and industry-oriented events in the areas of sustainable finance, FinTech, and innovation within the financial sector. These initiatives bring together students, researchers, and professionals from the field, fostering knowledge exchange, interdisciplinary collaboration, and dialogue between academia and industry.
