    Associate professor of Digital Production & Lab Lead Robot Lab

    Marta Malé-Alemany is Associate Professor of Digital Production within the Circular Design and Business research group at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences. Additionally, she is the head of the Robot Lab.

    Researcher

    Arwen Bijpost is a researcher at the Digital Production Research Group of the Robot Lab. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Built Environment and specializes in nature-inspired architecture and sustainable design.

    Lecturer and researcher

    Marco Galli Caro is an architect and creative engineer. He is a researcher and lecturer within the Digital Production Research Group (DPRG). Marco works on the implementation of digital design to robotic production for research, education and practice, seeking solutions that contribute to the circular economy of the city.

    Researcher

    Javid Jooshesh is a researcher at the Robot Lab, specializing in software development and IT solutions for automation and robotics in the circular transition. His current focus is on advancing key technologies through research and addressing technical challenges to lower adoption barriers in the industrial landscape for circular design-to-production methods.

  • Tony Schoen

    Project Manager & Funding Scout

    Tony has broad experience in the field of renewable energy and sustainable production. Trained as a mechanical engineer at the Eindhoven University of Technology, he is always looking for sustainable technical concepts that are applicable and scalable. At AUAS, he wants to transfer his experience in (sustainable) practice to a new generation of students and researchers.
