Participatory Research for Health and Well-being
Connecting research and lived experience
Collaborating in research with a diverse range of people is challenging. In participatory research, researchers work together with citizens on a problem from their lived environment, from formulating the question to taking action for change. This approach gives a voice to people who are often unheard, such as those with low incomes or psychiatric vulnerabilities. The Participatory Research for Health and Well-being research group encourages this involvement.
