Micha Keijer joined the Amsterdam School of International Business in 2006. Where currently teaches Behavioral Finance and supervises/assesses theses

Besides teaching at AMSIB, Dr. Keijer has ‘exported’ the CIF course to China. At the South Western University for Finance and Economics he teaches a 2 week compressed version of the AUAS finance course.

His teaching at AMSIB has not been without merit, in 2013 he was the runner up for the ‘best lecturer of the year’ award, while in 2014 Dr. Keijer was awarded as ‘best lecturer’ at the Faculty of Business and Economics. At VU University, he was also awarded as ‘best lecturer’ at the Faculty of Social Sciences.

Before joining the Amsterdam School of International Business, Dr.Keijer worked as a senior policy advisor at Dutch Central Bank (De Nederlandsche Bank). Prior to his academic career he also worked at Ernst&Young and MeesPieson. Dr. Keijer has studied Economics (M.A.) and Comparative Religious Studies. He specialized in Monetary Economics and Finance. His Ph.D. and current research is within the realm of stratification sociology, focusing on intergenerational transmission regarding adolescent education, work and family life expectations.
