Burcu Kör has been working as a researcher at Centre of Entrepreneurial Dynamics and International Strategy, and as a lecturer at Amsterdam School of International Business since 2017. Kör studied Computer Technology and Management Information Systems at the Boğaziçi University in Turkey and obtained her PhD in Management and Organization at the Istanbul University. In the scope of her PhD thesis study, she focused on the individual and contextual factors that affect innovative work behavior. Until 2017, she worked as a specialist in Management Information Systems and Cyber Security Center at the Boğaziçi University. Prior to her academic work, she worked as an e-learning specialist at IBM and as a manager in R&D Department at Feyziye Mektepleri Vakfı.

During her PhD period, she had been a visiting scholar in the University of Texas at Dallas and the Open University of the Netherlands. She is visiting researcher at the Thapar School of Management in India and works with colleagues from USA, India and Turkey. Her current research interests include entrepreneurial orientation, knowledge management, innovation, urban agriculture and cyber security.
