Marjon van Rijn is a professor by special appointment of Quality of Care for Older People at AUAS and a senior lecturer in Research at the Nursing cluster. She also works as a senior researcher at the Department of Geriatric Medicine at Amsterdam UMC and the University Network for Elderly Care (UNO) Amsterdam.

About Marjon van Rijn

Marjon van Rijn is a professor by special appointment of Quality of Care for Older People at the AUAS and a senior lecturer in Research within the Nursing cluster. Additionally, she works as a senior researcher at the University Network for Elderly Care Amsterdam (UNO Amsterdam); a collaboration between 23 elderly care organisations and Amsterdam UMC, Department of Geriatrics.

Marjon graduated in 2008 with a degree in Nursing from the Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences. She then pursued aMmaster's degree in Health Sciences at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. In 2017, Marjon obtained her PhD on the FIT study; a research project examining the effects of multifactorial care for elderly individuals living at home, coordinated by a district nurse.
