Entrepreneurship lunch with Tibert Verhagen


On 28 May 2019, Tibert Verhagen will give a presentation about his research work for the Store Innovation Lab of the Entrepreneurship Program.

Tibert obtained his doctorate in 2003 at VU University Amsterdam on the subject of online purchasing behavior. Since April 2016 he has been working at the Hogeschool van Amsterdam where he is doing research on store innovation and digital marketing.

Tibert's research focuses on the influence of new forms of technology on consumer behavior. He previously conducted research into web shops, online portals, electronic marketplaces, virtual worlds, virtual customer service agents, activity trackers, and virtual mirrors. In addition to research and education, Tibert has experience in business. He was one of the founders of two startups in the field of website analysis and advice and he also set up a web store.

Entrepreneurship lunches

In order to stimulate cross-fertilization between entrepreneurship and other disciplines, the Entrepreneurship Program organizes Entrepreneurship lunches. The lunches take place every two weeks in the Venture Studios in the Wibauthuis. Both AUAS and external researchers and teachers are invited to present their work and discuss current entrepreneurship issues with a select audience. Other AUAS spearheads are also actively involved.
