Dr. Burcu Kör


Burcu is an Assistant Professor at Amsterdam School of International Business and a senior researcher at the Centre for Economic Transformation at the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences. Her current research addresses various aspects of digital innovation applications and aims at monitoring digital transformation processes of Dutch SMEs, as well as supporting Higher Education providers to integrate effective digital skills education into innovation education. Her research interests also include innovative behavior, entrepreneurship, knowledge management, food waste, and cybersecurity.

Burcu holds a Ph.D. in Management and Organization which enables her to use an interdisciplinary research approach in analyzing the interaction of individuals and groups within organizations. She was a visiting researcher at the University of Texas at Dallas and the Open University of the Netherlands. She is also a visiting scholar at Thapar School of Management, India. Her scientific work has been published in international academic journals and conferences, including Technovation and Academy of Management Conference.
