Alexandra Allweier (Alexandra)

Hey, I’m Alex – a german potato. I study advertising & marketing communications in Stuttgart but currently doing the Minor Global Trendwatchingin lovely Amsterdam. I really love getting to know different people, cultures and perspectives. That’s why I was always looking forward to spend one semester abroad. I was so excitied and overwhelmed about the huge offer of partner universities, but the Minor at the HvA fascinated me a lot and Amsterdam as a city is just gorgeous – so at the moment I feel 120% at the right place.

I already lived in many different places: my study and apprenticeship in Stuttgart, a volunteer year in Cyprus, some months in South East Asia, an internship in Hamburg and now the semester in Amsterdam – so I know what topics come into your mind before starting a new life at another place and would love to support and help you with all upcoming questions.

I’m a very curious and open-minded person and I’m looking forward to share my experience, give some inspiration or just tips about the application, financing, accommodation or living in Amsterdam.
