My name is Nathalia Garcia, a 21y/o Colombian exchange student looking forward to explore every day a little more of Amsterdam city. Currently, I am coursing various courses at the Faculty of Economics and Business in Hva, my degree program is International Business and I have always been amazed by the cross-cultural communication and its relevance nowadays to do business. There is one mandatory question to answer in this section: Why did you decide to study at AUAS for your exchange?
I looked up AUAS and its courses offers convinced me to come to Amsterdam and study here, highlight in the fact that all of my courses were going to be in English and the policy of the AUAS to be inclusive with all different student backgrounds (culture and languages) was really important. Also, Hva has set as one of his goals to become an international university and that is really inspiring.
I am studying abroad because I have always wanted to live this kind of exchange experience, I think that is a great opportunity to learn from all different cultures around the world, enhance my professional and personal skills, become a global citizen, to be more open minded and growth every day from every moment here. Go out from my comfort zone.
One of the best things of my study area is that you can find nearby anything you need, there are multiple stores, supermarkets and a metro station as well. Plus, the building where I attend classes is 2 minutes’ walk from my dormitory.
