R.G. Oehlers (Romeo)

Romeo Oehlers works as a lecturer of management skills for the bachelors Sportkunde - leerroute SM&O and Sports Studies - track ISMB . According to him, both offer a respectful (learning) environment for students; essential for his functioning as a lecturer.

Romeo followed courses in Human Resource Management (HRM) and Educational Sciences. He developed himself in various subjects such as Communication and Psychology and also worked as a leadership trainer.

His drive for innovation ensures that Romeo is constantly looking for new tools, trends and methods for his teaching programme that focus on the development of people. Romeo's main goal for his students: learning to think critically. This sets them apart from others during their education and later in business.

Within his work, Romeo therefore focuses on combining soft skills and Sports Identity; something Sportkunde and Sport Studies are known for. By balancing these two skills, he teaches students to remain critical of themselves and their (future) teams.
