Physiotherapy - Moving towards Preventive Care
Greater role for physiotherapists in prevention
Lifestyle-related complaints are on the rise and healthcare costs continue to increase. Prevention is therefore more important than ever. The Physiotherapy - Moving towards Preventive Care research group focuses on exercise therapy that helps prevent complaints, promotes health and reduces health inequalities. The research group also investigates how physiotherapists can play a greater role, particularly outside the treatment room, together with healthcare and welfare partners in the community.
