HvA Ventures (Holding)
HvA Ventures Holding BV was founded in 2004 by the Executive Board of the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences for the development and implementation of market-oriented activities.
In this way, through HvA Ventures Holding, a strict separation is established between activities financed with public and private money that originated at the University of Applied Sciences. We also do this for the University of Amsterdam through the UvA Ventures Holding and the AMC through the AMC Ventures Holding. We also actively support the UvA and the AMC in setting up startups. We do this by stimulating and facilitating entrepreneurship, actively supporting new ventures arising from these institutions and by managing equity interests.
We provide governance, finance & control, management and advice for the companies that fall under HvA Ventures Holding.
