Test ideas in real life. No idea needed.

Join an interdisciplinary team, build a prototype, and test it live at a real festival. Watch the video to see how students made it happen!

What is ValidationLab MDT?

About the Program

ValidationLab MDT is a hands-on innovation program where you explore ideas together, build a prototype, and test it with real people — in a real festival setting.

You don’t need an idea to start. You bring your curiosity, skills, and motivation. Together with other students, coaches, and experts, you’ll discover what works by doing, testing, and learning.

Why we test at a festival

Most ideas fail not because they’re bad, but because they’re never tested in the real world. That’s why ValidationLab MDT takes place at a festival.

Festivals act like mini-societies: real people, real needs, real constraints — all in one place. You test your prototype under real conditions, get immediate feedback from a diverse audience, and learn what actually works, fast.

No lab simulations. No endless assumptions. Just real-world validation.

Why join ValidationLab MDT?

  • No idea needed: You don’t have to start with a business idea. Ideas are developed during the program.
  • Learn by doing: No long lectures or exams. You’ll work hands-on with real challenges.
  • Work in a team: You’ll collaborate with students from different study backgrounds.
  • Test in real life: You’ll test your prototype with real people at a real festival.
  • Build future skills: Learn validation, prototyping, teamwork, and communication skills.
