Entrepreneurship College SDG Edition

Inspiring innovation and entrepreneurial action

Each Entrepreneurship College is dedicated to one of the Sustainable Development Goals. And the goal of the Entrepreneurship College is to introduce this goal to everybody who is looking for inspiration and/or dedicated to making a positive contribution to leave the world a little bit better of than we found it when entering it. In other words, for everyone who wants to take entrepreneurial action for a better world!

For the Entrepreneurship College we invite an expert on one of the goals to explain why urgent change is necessary and what the consequences would be when we would not succeed in achieving the set goals. But the expert will also adress what changes should be the objective of people looking into making an impact on this particular goal and what sort of innovations (would) provide hope that we can reach the set targets.

At the Entrepreneurship Colleges we aim to welcome students, teachers and professionals from all backgrounds in order to inspire but also to bring those who understand the problem together with those who can design a possible solution.

Sustainable Development Goals

The sustainable development goals (SDGs) are a universal set of goals, targets and indicators that UN member states will be expected to use to frame their agendas and political policies till 2030.

The SDG’s address not only the huge inequality between people and the fact that we are rapidly approaching the boundaries of what our planet can take (or in some cases already exceeded them). But the SDG’s also acknowledge the fact that prosperity and innovation are essential in tackling these issues and that working together and peace are unnegotiable if we are to achieve these goals.
