Dr. Burcu Kör
Senior Researcher
Burcu is a senior researcher at the Entrepreneurship lectorate of the Centre for Economic Change of the Hogeschool van Amsterdam. Her current research focuses on various aspects of digital innovation applications and is aimed at monitoring digital transformation processes of Dutch SMEs and supporting higher education providers in integrating effective teaching of digital skills in innovation education. Her research interests also include innovative behaviour, entrepreneurship and innovation education, knowledge management, food waste and cybersecurity
Burcu holds a Ph.D. in Management and Organization which enables her to use an interdisciplinary research approach in analyzing the interaction of individuals and groups within organizations. She was a visiting researcher at the University of Texas at Dallas and the Open University of the Netherlands. She is also a visiting scholar at Thapar School of Management, India. Her scientific work has been published in international academic journals and conferences, including Technovation and Academy of Management Conference.
