Dr. Ir. Koos Johannes

Researcher

Koos Johannes completed his master's thesis at Delft University of Technology (Civil Engineering, specialisation Planning Design and Organisation). After graduating, he worked as a management consultant at Twijnstra Gudde, Dutch Railways and Deloitte & Touche. From 2001 to 2006, he was program manager at Stichting Bouwresearch Nederland (SBR), responsible for the development and implementation of research projects in the field of building and construction innovation. From 2006 to 2011, he was technical director at Woningborg N.V. and since 2011 he has worked as manager, lecturer and researcher at the Hogeschool van Amsterdam. In 2023, he received his PhD from the University of Twente and RMIT University Melbourne on 'Crafting Intrapreneurial Stewardship: An institutional perspective on client-led innovation in smart building maintenance'.
