Join us for Beyond Zero: Student Startup Day — a full-day event that celebrates student entrepreneurship as a force for tackling global and local challenges. Get inspired by changemakers from Patagonia, Kumasi Drinks, Mycofarming, and Rabo Ventures, and discover how entrepreneurship can go beyond doing less harm — towards creating real regeneration and positive impact.

Program Overview
🌞 Morning Program (09:30 – 12:00)
We’ll kick off the day with a warm welcome from the Venture Centre and an inspiring keynote from Patagonia on building a purpose-driven business. Students will also take part in a reflective session to connect personal values with entrepreneurial goals, followed by insights from impact-driven startups like Mycofarming.
🥗 Lunch & Networking (12:15 – 13:30)
During lunch, participants can enjoy a sustainable meal with snacks and drinks from Buggy Bites, Kumasi Drinks, and Favamole. You’ll also have the chance to network with speakers, students, and partners while exploring the Drawing Wall, a live visual capture of the day’s key ideas.
🌍 Afternoon Program (13:30 – 17:30)
The afternoon brings a deep dive into the balance between impact and profit, featuring Linda Klunder from Kumasi Drinks. Join hands-on workshops to explore sustainable business models and close the “impact-action gap.” The day will end with a panel discussion on investing for impact, with insights from Rabo Ventures, Droppie, and Generous Minds, followed by closing drinks and networking.
