Professor Building Transformation

Frank Suurenbroek obtained a Master's in Socio-Economic History from VU University Amsterdam and a Master's in Urban and Regional Planning at the UvA. In 2006, he received his doctorate following GIS-driven (geographic information systems) research into private urban transformations.

Frank worked as a senior researcher in the Research and Development department of the architectural firm Architekten Cie and then at Inbo Architectuur, Stedenbouw en Advies, another architectural firm. He also taught at various universities, including Eindhoven University of Technology, the Rietveld Academy and Bauhaus-Universität Weimar.
