For the 2026-2027 academic year, enrol between 1 October 2025 and 15 January 2026. After your enrolment, ESP will invite you to take part in the selection procedure.

Step 1: check the admission requirements

Check if you meet the admission requirements for the European School of Physiotherapy. 

Step 2: submit your enrolment request through Studielink

Apply for a programme at the AUAS through Studielink.

• If you live in the Netherlands, you need a DigiD.
• If you live abroad, you can apply without a DigiD (see instructions in Studielink).

Step 3: complete and submit the ESP application form

Fill in the ESP application form through the link below.

The deadline is 15 January 2026. Complete all steps and upload all documents before this date. After 15 January 2026 you can no longer apply.

Programme selection day

The selection day includes:

• Interview with an ESP lecturer
  You will get questions about the profession, your motivation, study skills and attitude.
• Written exam
  You will read a text about anatomy, biomechanics or physiology. The exam has multiple choice questions to check your understanding. Prior knowledge helps, but is not required. The exam tests your thinking skills and reflects the theory subjects you will study in your first semester at ESP.

Date selection day

The selection day takes place on Saturday 7 February 2026.

• You will receive your invitation after your documents are complete, no later than 1 February 2026.
• The written exam is mandatory and will take place online (Amsterdam Time).
• The interview will take place on the same day or in the days before via Microsoft Teams.
• If your documents are already approved by the Credential Evaluation Department, you may request an earlier interview.

Preparing for the selection

Once your application is complete, you will receive an email with preparation instructions.

Selection result and ranking number

On 1 March 2026, you will receive your results and ranking number.

• Your ranking number is based on your selection results.
• If your number is higher than 120, you may still get a place if spots become available after 1 March.
• If capacity allows, we offer waiting list students a place until 1 July 2026. ESP will contact you directly.
