We show how to apply AI responsibly and meaningfully in practice. We do not innovate ín AI, but with AI.
In seven labs - spread throughout the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences (AUAS) and linked to our faculties - the Centre of Expertise Applied Artificial Intelligence works together with education, research, business and civil society organizations. Together we design, develop and implement responsible AI solutions. In co-creation, we provide applications that will actually benefit companies and institutions.
Together with Computable and podcast De Dataloog, we have been rewarding innovation in Applied AI since 2020. Who knows, maybe you'll be shining at the Computable Awards in the Jaarbeurs Utrecht in November. You can apply for the '25 edition until June 16!
How can you use AI so that people, society and the planet benefit? The Responsible Applied Artificial InTelligence program (RAAIT for short) focuses on this question. We experiment and innovate with responsible AI applications.
Students from various AUAS programs with a passion for AI help us connect students around the theme of Applied AI. Our student council itself organizes events, thinks along with our activities and gives advice on the role of AI within the AUAS.
