Funding your studies

There are no AUAS scholarships applicable to this master programme.

Since this study programme is not funded by the Dutch government, students with the Dutch nationality who have studied in the Netherlands are only eligible to receive from the Dutch government 'leftover' years from their study financing. This depends on your personal situation. See here(opens in new window) more information from DUO. We advise you to check(opens in new window) how many years you are still eligible to receive Dutch government funded study financing. If you have any questions about this, please contact DUO(opens in new window).

Dutch students might be entitled to 'Lifelong Learning Credit'. Please visit the Ministry of Education's DUO website (opens in new window)to see if you are eligible.

Do you require a visa and residence permit for study purposes to study in the Netherlands?

For the immigration procedure you need to fulfil certain requirements set by the Dutch Government. One of these requirements is the proof of financial means

The Dutch Immigration and Naturalisation Service (IND) requires that you have sufficient financial means to cover your stay in the Netherlands. The required minimum amount set by the IND is €965 a month. Please note that this is not payment, it is evidence proving you have the financial means to sustain yourself while studying and living in the Netherlands.

The Proof of Financial Means** for one academic year (or two semester) is €11.580*.

*Please note fees are subject to change.

**All loans (including government student loans) are not accepted as proof of financial means for living expenses.
