'I believe the benefits of doing a Master fall into 3 categories: job applications, credibility and critical thinking'

Job applications: when I started applying for jobs, I noticed that many jobs I was applying for had a Master's degree as a criteria. This meant I was able to apply to the jobs I was interested in by having the right credentials. This made the application process a little less daunting because it confirmed I was applying to roles that were realistic.  

Credibility: in the end I never actually started working for another company as I founded my own. In my career so far, it has been a great confidence boost as the people I am working with also have a Master's degree. Because we founded the company at a younger age, it has given us more credibility when working with clients because it showed we had studied at a ‘higher’ level, and this compensated for the fewer years in the field.  

Critical thinking: during the Master I really learnt about critical thinking and more strategic approaches. This has benefitted the quality of the work I produce and the efficiency at which I work.
