Validity of the results

Have you been selected for Sport Studies - track ISMB, but would you rather start in September 2025 instead of September 2024?  Then you'll have to participate in the selection again next year.  

Medical examination

If you got offered a place in our programme and you accepted your spot, you will receive an invitation for a sport medical examination. If you live in the Netherlands, you will receive an invite in June. If you live abroad, your sport medical examination will take place on 1 September, the day after the introduction week.

Chance of placement

In total Sport Studies and Sportkunde have a capacity of 300 places for the 2024-2025 academic year. There were 561 candidates who took part in the selection. They received their ranking number on 15 April, a number somewhere between 1 and 561. The participants with numbers 1 to 300 were directly offered a place on 15 April, which they had to accept within 2 weeks. 

If your ranking number is higher than 300, there is still a chance for you to make it into the final selection. If your number is just above 300, it may happen soon after 15 April. The higher your number, the smaller your chances of getting selected. On this page, we will publish weekly publish the latest ranking number that was offered a spot. This will give you an idea of your chances of being accepted. The AUAS will offer the last spots on 15 August. So check this page regularly, also during the summer!
