Have you made your choice?
Is the Sport Studies programme right for you? For the 2026–2027 academic year, you can enrol until 15 January 2026. Follow the step-by-step guide below.
Check the admission requirements

Before you enrol, check the admission requirements for this programme. To be admitted to Sport Studies you need to have completed secondary education equivalent to the Dutch HAVO, VWO or MBO 4 level. You will also participate in a selection procedure (numerus fixus), as the programme has a limited number of places.
Go to Studielink to submit your enrolment request

Make sure to register in Studielink by 15 January 2026 at the latest. If you live in the Netherlands, you’ll need a DigiD. Do you live abroad? Studielink will explain what steps to take. After registering, you’ll receive several emails to guide you through the enrolment process.
Participate in the selection procedure

Sport Studies has a limited number of study places (quota). The programme offers in total 330 study places, 96 spots for Sport Studies – track ISMB and 234 spots for the Dutch track Sportkunde – leerroute SM&O. There are more prospective students than study places, therefore the programme has a selection procedure.
Pay the tuition fees

You can only really start your studies after you have paid your tuition fees. They must have been received by the AUAS by the day before you start your studies at the latest.
