Meet Programme Committee International Business!

6 Dec 2020 20:02 | Representative Advisory Councils

To all students and lecturers we say: “Hello!”, the AMSIB Programme Committee (PC) has been out of sight but has been working very hard to ensure quality of education on our faculty Business and Economics.

The Programme Committee consists of students & lecturers and represents them from all years of the programme (International Business). Currently, we consist of six lecturers and seven student members. We meet once a month to discuss questions, projects and issues. We want to improve students’ experience at AMSIB and we’re always searching for ways to initiate positive change.

A few projects and tasks that we are busy with is the successful implementation of the class representative system, reviewing the TER (Teaching and Examination Regulations) and give our approval (or not). We also advise the Management Team (MT) on the improvement and quality of education for the programme(s). The Programme Committee is also part in the decision regarding where to allocate the budget of the Advanced Payments.

Are you a student or lecturer at AMSIB and you would like to get involved with the Programme Committee's activities? Feel free to send an email to Nathan Troost or Max Heijmans or if you have a concern or complaint, for students, please contact your class representative/mentor or, for lecturers, contact Lizzy de Keijser.

The Programme Committee calls upon all students and lecturers to remain kind to one another, we have to make the best out of this situation, and we can only do that together. Especially now with the lasting impact of distance learning or online education, it is particularly important to keep in touch with each other.
