The dynamics of Post-Crisis State-ownership and Corporate Citizenship
PhD defence ceremonyThis research analyses effects of varieties of state-ownership with banks on their responses towards expectations and needs of society. It focuses on the informal relationships between the state and banks, through which the institutionalization of social rules evolve. The study contributes to debates on the nature, function, evolution and impact of institutions, in particular in the corporate governance literature on societal accountability of corporate behavior.
